DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: South Luangwa - Kapani Lodge
Arrive Lusaka International Airport and connect onto your domestic flight to Mfuwe in the South Luangwa National Park where you are met by your guide for the transfer to Kapani Lodge.

Day 2: South Luangwa - Kapani Lodge
An early start gives you the full day to explore the game-rich area close to Kapani. The morning drive brings you back to camp for more food and a bit of down time before the evening safari during which you will have the opportunity to view some of the nocturnal inhabitants of the bush.

Days 3 & 4: South Luangwa - Walking Safari
You will move from Kapani to the first of your remote bush camp accommodations from where you will experience your first proper walking safari. Gameviewing activities from the bush camps are mostly on foot although gamedrives and nightdrives are always an option.

Days 5 & 6: South Luangwa - Walking Safari
On the second morning at the bushcamp your morning walk will end at your next camp, arriving in time for brunch and to find your bags already in your room. Two full days here exploring the South Luangwa and all it has to offer.

Day 7: Zanzibar - Fumba Beach Lodge
The drive from your bush camp to Mfuwe Airport takes you along the Luangwa river for the last time and gives you one last chance to marvel at the amount of game living in this National Park. Your flight to Dar es Salaam takes you via Lusaka and lands you in Tanzania in time to connect to your local flight to Zanzibar, the Spice Island.
Fumba Beach Lodge is an idyllic group of chalets set in 40 acres of gardens overlooking the Indian Ocean, with three naturally sheltered beaches, in a conservation area just 40 minutes drive from Zanzibar airport. There are 26 spacious rooms set amongst the baobab trees and palms within the grounds, each with its own en-suite bathroom, terrace and ocean view.

Days 8 & 9: Zanzibar - Fumba Beach Lodge
Two full days to enjoy the splendour of this luxurious and peaceful beach resort. The coral and sea-life are spectacular for those that wish to dive or snorkel, possibly making use of the fully equipped dive centre run by qualified PADI professionals. Alternatively you can laze around the cliff-top pool or the beach outside your chalet, or relax in the massage centre.

Day 10: End of Safari
The flight from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam is just 20 minutes from where you will connect to your onward flight.
