ITINERARY

This South Africa safari begins at Cape Town International Airport and ends at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.

Days 1 to 3: Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a member of our team, who will have your rental vehicle waiting.

With Table Mountain at its heart and two oceans at its feet, the laid-back city of Cape Town is as much at home with its 17th century castle and historic wine farms as it is with its sleek skyscrapers and trendy malls.

Enjoy three nights at the Cape Royale Luxury Hotel & Residence.

Day 4: Oudtshoorn

Drive through the Cape to the town of Oudtshoorn.

Tucked away in the Klein Karoo, the picturesque town of Oudtshoorn offers attractions such as the spectacular Cango Caves, ostrich farm tours, the Cheetah Breeding Farm and the natural beauty of the Swartberg Pass.

Spend the night at the Rosenhof Country House.

Days 5 & 6: Knysna

Take a scenic drive to Knysna.

Surrounded by rolling hills and a huge lagoon guarded by two massive cliff faces known as The Heads, guests to Knysna marvel at its golden beaches, enchanted forests - where elephants still roam - and juicy oysters.

Relax for two nights at Hunter's Country House.

Day 7: Natal Coast

Drive along the coast to Port Elizabeth Airport, where you will catch a flight to Durban. Another rental car will be waiting for you.

The Natal Coast boasts wide, golden beaches, a beautiful coastline lined with dense, green forests and hundreds of lagoons, rivers and streams.

Indulge in a night at The Oyster Box Hotel.

Days 8 & 9: Phinda Private Game Reserve

Drive to Phinda Private Game Reserve.

Phinda's variety of landscapes shelter an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five and many rarer and less easily spotted species such as the cheetah and black rhino.

Enjoy two nights at Phinda Forest Lodge. Activities include twice-daily game drives, nature walks, birdwatching and riverboat cruises.

Day 10: Pongola

After a delicious breakfast, drive to nearby Pongola.

From the Big Five to the rare loggerhead and leatherback turtles, the KwaZulu-Natal Safari Area provides a home for thousands of birds, reptiles, fish and mammals.

Spend the night at the White Elephant Safari Lodge and enjoy two eco activities of your choice (game drive, boat cruise, guided walk, canoeing, tiger fishing, elephant adventure or rhino walk).

Days 11 & 12: White River

Drive through mountainous Swaziland to the town of White River in South Africa.

While away the hours in the arts and crafts outlets of White River, venture to the Sibelala Tourist Centre or explore the Lowveld Botanical Gardens.

Relax for two nights at Cybele Forest Lodge & Health Spa.

Days 13 & 14: Sabi Sand Game Reserve

Drive to the renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

The Sabi Sand offers excellent chances of seeing the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and lion) and is also home to a host of other animals.

Indulge in two nights at Exeter River Lodge. Adventures include twice-daily game drives and guided bush walks.

Day 15: Departure

Drive to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, where you will drop off your rental car and check in for your return flight.
