South Africa » Sabi Sand Game Reserve
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is undoubtedly the most exclusive private game reserve in South Africa. The 65000 hectare Sabi Sand Game Reserve is located on the south-western corner of the Kruger National Park.
There are no restricting fences between the Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and therefor the wildlife roams freely between the two game reserves.
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is an association of freehold landowners, many of whom manage commercially active safari operations. Sharing a common environmental management program, this association is administered by a warden reporting to an elected executive committee.
The Sabie and Sand River system and surrounding area offers the finest lodge accommodation and game viewing safaris and tours in South Africa. The Sabi Sand Game Reserve offers close-up viewing of the Big 5 and Africa's wildife from open safari vehicles, luxury lodges, fine dining and spa treatments.
