DETAILED ITINERARY
Days 1 & 2: Damaraland
Depart from Windhoek's Eros Airport or the Hosea Kutako International Airport at approximately 09h00 in the morning. After an approximate 1.5 hour flight landing at Palmwag Lodge where you will be transfer in an open 4x4 gameviewer to the Desert Rhino Camp for a 2 night stay.
Desert Rhino Camp is a luxury tented mobile camp run in conjunction with the 'Save the Rhino Trust' in the Palmwag concession area of the rugged northern Damaraland. The camp offers a fascinating insight into the ecology and conservation of this incredible area, at the same time contributing directly to the Trust and ultimately the sustainability of this vulnerable area and its wildlife.
The area we traverse, whilst tracking Black Rhino and other wildlife is massive, over 450 000 hectares. A maximum of 12 guests will have the rare pleasure of exploring this wild and remote area in the company of the dedicated conservationists who host them together with local trackers.
Wildlife in the area includes Hartmann's Mountain Zebra, Giraffe, Oryx, Springbok, Ostrich, Desert Adapted Elephant, Lions, Cheetah, Leopard, Spotted and Brown Hyaena and the highlight of course, Black Rhino.

Days 3 & 4: Kunene River
Vehicle transfer to airstrip at Palmwag Lodge. Today's scenic flight takes you to the Uniab River mouth, via Cape Frio and the Kunene River mouth to one of the most remote camps in Southern Africa, Serra Cafema Camp.
Serra Cafema Camp is an exclusive desert getaway on the banks of the Kunene River in the remote northwestern section of Kaokoland. The camp, which overlooks Angola, is situated about 65 km east of the Kunene Mouth under huge, shady Ana trees.
The area is a birdwatchers paradise, and if you're lucky, you might even see the ferocious Kunene crocodiles basking on a sandy riverbank. There are several Himba settlements in the vicinity of Serra Cafema, which give guests the opportunity to observe the lifestyles and traditions of this nomadic race of Herero origin at close quarters.

Days 5 & 6: Etosha
After an early lunch, road transfer to the airstrip and subsequent flight to Ongava Lodge where you will stay for 2 nights. Ongava Game Lodge is situated along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park in the privately owned Ongava Game Reserve. Ongava is the ideal place from which to base your activities when visiting Etosha.
Activities include game drives in open 4x4 vehicles into the Okaukuejo area of Etosha where Lion, Elephant, Cheetah, Gemsbok, Springbok and Hartebeest can be seen at many of the water holes in the park. In addition, night drives, hides and walks with armed guides are enjoyed on the private reserve. Ongava has resident White and Black Rhino, giving guests staying at Ongava the opportunity to see both species.

Day 7: End of safari
After a delicious breakfast, enjoy a final safari to the landing strip of Ongava Lodge. Board the plane, sit back and reflect on an unforgettable trip which reaches conclusion on arrival in Windhoek.
