DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival into Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred to House of Waine. House of Waine is an 11-bedroom boutique hotel in Karen. Renowned for fine decor and quiet location, each bedroom has a television, minibar, coffee & tea making facilities and homemade pastries brought daily. Each has a marble bathroom with a shower, a bath and hairdryers. Within their gardens there is a heated swimming pool. It is close to the Giraffe Centre, the Nairobi National Park, the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the arts & crafts centres.

Days 2, 3 & 4: Elsa's Kopje, Meru National Park
You will be collected at 06h15 from House of Waine and transferred to Wilson Airport for the 08h00 Air Kenya scheduled flight to Meru National Park. On arrival at 08h45, you will be met by a driver-guide and taken to the lodge, which has 8 en-suite elegant open-plan 'rooms-with-a-view', a three-level Honeymoon suite and a Private House consisting of one double and one twin room with a shared sitting room, all of which are designed to incorporate natural features of the rocky hillside. There is an open bar, sitting and dining room with an infinity pool. Activities include day & night game drives, guided walks, bush meals, sundowners, river excursions, fishing and massage ... not forgetting the rhino sanctuary.

Day 5: Loisaba Lodge, Laikipia
You will leave Elsa's Kopje on a Tropic Air scheduled flight after breakfast departing at 08h30 and fly to Loisaba. You will be met by your driver-guide and driven to the lodge. Loisaba is located on a 61,000 acre private game ranch. Loisaba Lodge has seven en-suite rooms with decks overlooking panoramic Laikipia, a beautiful dining and sitting area, swimming pool, tennis court and massage room. Activities include day and night game drives, walks, horse riding, mountain biking; cultural visits, bush meals, sundowners; a private hot air balloon, helicopter excursions & quad biking are available at an extra cost.

Day 6: Loisaba Starbeds (optional)
Alternatively to Loisaba Lodge, there is now an option to sleep in our Starbeds; these are raised wooden platforms with 4 poster beds on wheels that can either be under the stars or under the thatched roof. You will be fully hosted by the Samburu.

Days 7 & 8: Sabuk Lodge, Laikipia
After breakfast, you will have a short drive by road to Sabuk, home to the first female safari guide and a stunning wilderness destination perched up on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Six beautifully furnished open sided en-suite cottages overlooking the river and a secluded family cottage with one double and one twin room, a shared sitting area and a private swimming pool. Activities include day & night game drives, walks, bush meals, sundowners, line fishing, swimming and camel trekking.

Day 9: Sabuk Fly Camp (optional)
After breakfast, you will have a short drive by road to Sabuk, home to the first female safari guide and a stunning wilderness destination perched up on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Six beautifully furnished open sided en-suite cottages overlooking the river and a secluded family cottage with one double and one twin room, a shared sitting area and a private swimming pool. Activities include day & night game drives, walks, bush meals, sundowners, line fishing, swimming and camel trekking.
Days 10, 11 & 12: Masai Mara Game Reserve
After an early breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for the Tropic Air scheduled flight at 09h30 to the Masai Mara, which offers a true wildlife experience, one that is hard to duplicate anywhere else in the world.
You can stay at any of the following: Cottars 1920's, with its elegant style white tents and traditional luxury; Saruni's intimate cottages with luxurious interiors and Italian fittings; Richard's Camp is a traditional tented camp in true safari style with modern surprises or Elephant Pepper Camp, which brings you back to nature, no permanent structures, just the sights and sounds of the bush. The activities available include day and night game drives, breakfasts out on the savannah, sundowners and guided bush walks.

Day 13: End of safari
You will be transferred to the airstrip for the 11h00 SafariLink flight back to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, one of our representatives will transfer you to your Nairobi Hotel or to the international airport for your onward journey.
