Amboseli Fly-in Safari
Detailed ItineraryDay 1: Amboseli - Lodge of choice * Pick up from your hotel in the city center for transfer to the Wilson Airport. You will be assisted to board a scheduled flight departing at 07h30 to arrive in the Amboseli National Park at 08h15. Upon arrival you will be met at the airstrip for transfer to the lodge for check. Later after lunch you will be collected from the lodge for an afternoon game drive in shared lodge vehicles. This park is located in the shadows of the most famous symbol of Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro and is dubbed the 'Home of the Elephants'. Large herds, some time numbering up to 200 may be seen. Dinner and overnight will be at a lodge of your choice* * Amboseli Serena Lodge or Tortillis Camp Day 2: Amboseli - Lodge of choice Morning and afternoon game drives in a shared lodge vehicle. The swamps on the east of the park attract Wildebeest, Zebra and Antelope with the predators that live off them, chiefly Lion which tend to be easy to view here. In the south, Enkongo Narok swamp attracts hippos to the larger pools and plenty of Buffalo, Buck and teeming bird life including the Jacanas that pick the way elegantly and carefully. Giraffe, Leopard, Cheetah, Caracal and Civet may be seen. Day 3: Depart Early morning game drive in Amboseli before breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to the airstrip for a scheduled flight departing at 08h30 to arrive in Nairobi at 09h15 where you will be met at the Wilson Airport for transfer to your hotel. |
