The Mount Nelson The Mount Nelson Hotel is located at the foot of Table Mountain and is Cape Town's most established and distinguished hotel. The Palm Avenue wing - Taunton House, Green Park, Helmsley and Hof Villa - is reached from the main house via the leafy Palm Avenue. Guests staying in these rooms enjoy unrivalled serenity and seclusion while residing at the Mount Nelson Hotel. Guests have full access to all Mount Nelson Hotel facilities, including the high-tech gymnasium with personal trainers, two heated swimming pools and two all surface flood lit tennis courts. Afternoon tea at The Mount Nelson Hotel has become a very popular way to spend an afternoon. It is served from 14h30 - 17h30, Monday to Sunday. It includes delicacies such as smoked salmon sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, scones with jam and cream petit fours, fresh fruit and tea cakes.
